HEC cooking methods


Choosing the correct cooking method for different foods are relevant to reducing Sugar, fat, and salt. For example, boiling and steaming require no oil so it's a great cooking method for reducing salts and fats.

Chop suey

During yesterday's practical, we ensured that we limited the chance of contamination by wiping down the tables with antibacterial spray before we began preparing the food. When collecting ingredients I ensured no Beef blood was dripping anywhere and all the food was collected in separate bowls to avoid cross-contamination.
